Cosa serve per usare Accanto?
Un iPhone con iOS 18.6 o successivo, oppure un iPad con iPadOS 18.6 o successivo. Per condividere il calendario con l'altro genitore servono due dispositivi, ciascuno con il proprio account iCloud attivo.
Posso usarla su iPhone e iPad insieme?
Sì. Con lo stesso account iCloud i dati sono gli stessi su tutti i tuoi dispositivi, e sull'iPad l'app usa la barra laterale e due colonne.
Come invito l'altro genitore?
- Apri Impostazioni → Condivisione → Invita l'altro genitore.
- Invia l'invito con Messaggi o Mail all'indirizzo del suo Apple Account.
- L'altro genitore installa Accanto e tocca il link: l'app si apre già collegata al calendario.
Ho toccato il link ma non succede nulla
Controlla che Accanto sia installata e che iCloud sia attivo (Impostazioni → il tuo nome → iCloud). Poi tocca di nuovo il link. Se l'invito è stato mandato a un indirizzo sbagliato, chi l'ha inviato può annullarlo in Impostazioni → Condivisione e mandarne uno nuovo.
Come aggiungo un documento?
Nella scheda Documenti tocca + e scegli se prendere un file, una foto o scansionare un foglio con la fotocamera. Dai un titolo al documento e indica a quali figli si riferisce: lo vedrà anche l'altro genitore.
Come mando ad Accanto un allegato che ho ricevuto per email?
Apri l'allegato in Mail, tocca il pulsante di condivisione e scegli Accanto. Puoi già dargli un nome e scegliere i figli, poi tocca Salva.
Ho condiviso un allegato ma nella scheda Documenti non c'è
Apri Accanto: il documento viene messo in salvo subito, ma entra nell'elenco e parte verso l'altro genitore alla prima apertura dell'app. Se non compare nemmeno allora, controlla che il file non superi i 25 MB.
A cosa serve l'archivio?
A togliere dall'elenco i documenti che non servono più — la ricetta dell'anno scorso, un certificato scaduto — senza eliminarli. Li ritrovi in Documenti → icona dell'archivio, in alto a sinistra, e puoi sempre riportarli indietro.
Non ricevo le notifiche delle modifiche
- Controlla che le notifiche di Accanto siano attive nelle Impostazioni del dispositivo.
- Non chiudere l'app scorrendola via dal multitasking: tornare alla Home basta.
- Con la modalità risparmio energetico iOS può ritardare gli aggiornamenti.
Posso usare Accanto senza iCloud?
Sì, ma i dati restano solo sul tuo dispositivo e non puoi condividere il calendario. Puoi attivare iCloud anche più avanti: i dati verranno caricati allora.
Come elimino i miei dati?
Dall'app puoi eliminare ogni elemento, documenti compresi. Per cancellare tutto da iCloud: Impostazioni → il tuo nome → iCloud → Gestisci spazio → Accanto → Elimina dati.

What do I need to use Accanto?
An iPhone with iOS 18.6 or later, or an iPad with iPadOS 18.6 or later. To share the calendar with the other parent you need two devices, each signed in to its own iCloud account.
Can I use it on iPhone and iPad together?
Yes. With the same iCloud account the data is the same on all your devices, and on iPad the app uses a sidebar and two columns.
How do I invite the other parent?
- Open Settings → Sharing → Invite the other parent.
- Send the invitation via Messages or Mail to the address of their Apple Account.
- The other parent installs Accanto and taps the link: the app opens already connected to the calendar.
I tapped the link but nothing happens
Make sure Accanto is installed and iCloud is on (Settings → your name → iCloud), then tap the link again. If the invitation was sent to the wrong address, the sender can cancel it in Settings → Sharing and send a new one.
How do I add a document?
In the Documents tab tap + and choose a file, a photo, or scan a sheet of paper with the camera. Give the document a title and say which children it refers to: the other parent will see it too.
How do I send Accanto an attachment I received by email?
Open the attachment in Mail, tap the share button and choose Accanto. You can already give it a name and pick the children, then tap Save.
I shared an attachment but it isn't in the Documents tab
Open Accanto: the document is kept safe straight away, but it joins the list and travels to the other parent the next time you open the app. If it still doesn't appear, check that the file is not larger than 25 MB.
What is the archive for?
To take documents you no longer need out of the list — last year's prescription, an expired certificate — without deleting them. You'll find them under Documents → the archive icon, top left, and you can always bring them back.
I don't get notifications about changes
- Check that notifications for Accanto are allowed in your device's Settings.
- Don't swipe the app away in the app switcher: going back to the Home Screen is enough.
- In Low Power Mode, iOS may delay updates.
Can I use Accanto without iCloud?
Yes, but the data stays only on your device and you can't share the calendar. You can turn on iCloud later: the data will be uploaded then.
How do I delete my data?
You can delete any item in the app, documents included. To delete everything from iCloud: Settings → your name → iCloud → Manage Storage → Accanto → Delete Data.
